Trong lịch sử phát triển hệ điều hành, các kỹ sư đã phải trải qua 3 thế hệ mô hình I/O (Input/Output) để đạt được tốc độ xử lý như ngày nay.
Context Switching - Chi phí ngầm khi chạy quá nhiều luồng (Threads)
Khi lập trình các ứng dụng xử lý tải cao, chúng ta thường nghe các khẩu lệnh như :’Hãy mở thêm luồng (Thread) để tận dụng tối đa CPU đa lõi’.
